Global Veterinary Services is a locally owned mixed-practice veterinary clinic established in 2010 by Dr Andrew Gore, who has been a veterinarian in Hamilton and the surrounding farmlands since the 1990s. The practice operates two purpose-built clinics serving the Waikato region with a focus on quality care and strong client partnerships.
The main clinic in Gordonton is a modern companion animal hospital located on Gordonton Road (8 minutes from Rototuna shops). The satellite clinic in Whatawhata handles on-farm consultations and vaccinations for companion animals. Both clinics offer services for dairy and lifestyle block animals, including sheep, goats, alpacas, pigs, chickens, ducks, donkeys and deer. The team also treats exotic animals including birds, reptiles (turtles and lizards), and small mammals.
Services span from annual vaccinations and health checks to routine and emergency surgery for all animal species. A 24/7 farm emergency after-hours service is available, with companion animal emergencies referred to Waikato After Hours Veterinary Hospital. The practice emphasises environmental responsibility and community engagement, including animal education programmes delivered to local schools.
